About

I'm Cheyenne, your Expert in Modern Manners & Meaningful Communication.

Lover of good manners, southern hospitality, and Charleston's golden hour.

ONCE UPON A TIME

Meet the Mind and Soul
behind Magnolia & Moss

As a native of Charleston, SC, Cheyenne is a southern belle raised with a deep love for conversation and a respect for tradition, Growing up homeschooled and in programs like Teenpact Leadership Schools, Formal Protocol, and Speech & Debate club, she developed a passion for thoughtful dialogue and understanding diverse perspectives. Cheyenne’s undergraduate and graduate degrees in Psychology and Human Services have reinforced her belief that true etiquette is rooted in empathy, understanding, and respect for others. Her professional background spans education, law, and the nonprofit sector - fields that strengthened her skills in communication strategy, storytelling, and mission-driven messaging. Whether helping a ministry find its voice or guiding a local business in shaping its narrative, Cheyenne brings clarity and compassion to every communication touchpoint.

And so it begins...

It was during the planning of her own wedding, however, that Cheyenne's passion for etiquette truly blossomed. She found herself seeking answers to the little questions about what was proper, what felt right, and how to create an experience that was both beautiful and meaningful. It was here that Cheyenne purchased her first etiquette book in search of those answers. What started as a personal quest for clarity turned into a passion for helping others navigate life’s social intricacies with confidence.

When Cheyenne isn’t guiding others, you’ll find her at home by the Charleston waters with her husband, Mark, and their French Bulldog, Sigmund. As a southern-born hostess, Cheyenne cherishes gardening, baking, cooking new recipes, and creating warm memories around her table with those she loves.

Inspired by the beauty and harmonic culture of Italy, especially the Amalfi Coast, Cheyenne is drawn to the vibrant blues, the fresh lemons, and the sparkling waters. And the golden hour of Charleston? It fills her with peace and purpose, a reminder that impact doesn’t come from effort alone - it can simply flow from a joyful heart.
